Help Shape Our New Learning Programme

These informal and engaging sessions are an opportunity for teachers to experience our current schools programme first-hand and to help us shape the next phase of Pendon’s learning offer. We’re developing new sessions designed to support curriculum learning through hands-on, immersive experiences and we want your input to make sure they truly meet your pupils’ needs.

During the session, you will:

  • Take part in a sample workshop exploring Pendon’s 1930s model world through craft and discovery.
  • Learn about our loan boxes and how they can support classroom learning.
  • Share your ideas on how Pendon can best support your teaching goals.
  • Enjoy refreshments and networking with colleagues in a relaxed setting.

The sessions under development include:

  • Heritage crafts and sustainability – tracing materials from farm to home through wool spinning and weaving.
  • Landscape and environment – exploring human geology, soil science, and how landscapes shape human culture.

Your insight is invaluable in helping us build a learning programme that is practical, inspiring, and relevant for schools across the region.

Our next session is Thursday 27 November, 4:00–6:00pm.

If you’d like to join us, please email Jordan at learning@pendonmuseum.com. We’d love to welcome you to Pendon and hear your thoughts!
