ADMISSION TICKETS Tickets can also be purchased at the museum prior to entry.
CAFE Our café sells light refreshments including tea, coffee, soft drinks, biscuits and confectionery. The village pub (The Plough Inn) is 5 minutes walk from the museum and serves hot meals.
COMFORT The museum is fully air-conditioned.
DISABILITIES If you or a member of your party has a disability or is mobility-impaired please inform us before your visit and we will do our best to assist. DOGS Dogs are not allowed in the museum.
GROUPS We are pleased to make special arrangements for visits by associations, clubs, educational or youth groups. Details can be found here.
PARKING Pendon has a small free car park that is sufficient at most times. If you do find that you need to park on the public road please do so with consideration to our neighbours and the village.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT There is limited public transport into Long Wittenham. Available bus services and timetables can be found here. Taxis are available from Didcot railway station.
PUSHCHAIRS Unfortunately pushchairs cannot be accommodated.
PHOTOGRAPHY We invite visitors to take photographs and encourage them to share them on social media. You may not take photographs that include children without the permission of their parents or guardians. Those wishing to take photographs for commercial use must clear this with the museum in advance. Flash photography is not allowed.
SHOP Our shop sells books about railways, modelling and life in 1930s. We stock a very limited range of modelling materials, our own range of 3D printed figures and a range of souvenirs, models and gifts for younger enthusiasts.
WIFI We provide free wi-fi throughout most of the museum. We invite you to use this to post on social media about your visit.
