The prototype for this model building is on the edge of Shrivenham.
The farm, its outbuildings, barns and cottages were researched in the early 1950s by Roye England and others.
The model was built around 1990 by Penny Thompson and Ron Rising.
The model is set in flat land near the Oxford Line at the western end of the Vale Scene.
