The prototype for this model building is in South Marston.
The building was first recorded for Pendon in 1973 and early photographs were loaned by the then landlord.
The model was constructed in 1994-95 by Alan Butcher and is set between Marsh Lane Crossing on the GWR railway line and Wharf Cottage close to the out-of-use Wilts and Berks Canal.
