The prototype is located below White Horse Hill close to Kingston Lisle. A number of iconic buildings have been demolished since the farm was researched by the Pendon team.

The farm caught the attention of Roye England in 1932 when he took photographs. Further surveys took place around 1950. The site was complex with nine substantial buildings, farmyards, walls and other infrastructure set in an undulating landscape.

Twelve Pendon modellers were involved in constructing the farm and its buildings, surroundings and equipment- with particular attention being paid to the relative positions and elevations of all the features involved.

It is set in the diorama in a similar position to the prototype.
