Pound Farmhouse is situated in Goosey. It is a complex building resulting from five main periods of construction.

A central mediaeval open cruck-framed hall dates from c1400-1450. In c1580-1600 two-storey box-framed cross wings were added at the western end. A stone built three storey section was added c1680-1700 possibly replacing the southern box-frame wing. This section was spacious and solidly built of local limestone, with high ceilings and an attic, probably housing servants’ quarters. Two brick-built extensions were built on the north side, one extending the box-framed section and the other a coach house on which is a keystone bearing the date 1801. Two single storey wings were added on the south side in the 19th century.
