Champs Chapel is in East Hendred. It was built in 1453 and a priest’s house added later. 

It was researched in the early 1970s by Roye England and David Manders who also had access to b&w photographs from 1900-1930.

It was modelled by Peter Buddle in 1973 in a dilapidated state.

Unusually, the prototype was reversed to increase the visual attraction to museum visitors. It is also in a more rural setting than is the prototype.
