Weathering Diesels

Led by Tim Shackleton

Diesel locomotives and multiple units weather in specific ways, reflecting the build-up over time of evidence of exposure to wind, rain, sunlight, heat, exhaust fumes, atmospheric dust, pollution, oil spills, paint fading and so on. Under the guidance of one of Europe’s best-known experts in model painting, you’ll learn how to use a variety of methods and media to create convincing weathering effects on diesel traction of all types, scales and eras.

The Workshop runs from 09:30 until 16:00 and includes unlimited light refreshments during the day.

The fee for this workshop is £95 and Friends of Pendon are entitled to a 10% discount.
