Upcoming sessions:
22nd June
Step back to the 1930s when every cottage had a vegetable patch and families grew their own food. Your Little Learners will make their own paper basket, vegetables and flowers - just like those found in the gardens. Then explore the museum on a discovery trail, spotting all the ways people used what they grew. We will also have a dressing up box where you can try on 1930s costumes and for little ones not quite ready to craft we have a play corner with puzzles and games to enjoy. We'll finish together at 11:45 with group story time.

Please be aware that the museum is not fully operational during these sessions, with trains running in the scenes during our normal weekend open hours.
Spaces are limited and on a first come, first served basis. Drinks and snacks will be available to purchase at the museum. There is an accessible toilet with baby changing facilities. Prams can be left in reception, unfortunately there is no ramp or lift access to the upper gallery.
