We are about 8 miles from Oxford and 5 miles from Abingdon.
You will find brown tourist signs directing you to the Museum.
We have a small car park for visitors, but please use this only while you are at the Museum itself. If the car park is full please park with consideration for village residents.

Didcot is the nearest major railway station with frequent trains from London, the West Country, the Midlands and the North. Several taxi firms operate from the station and will bring you to the Museum. If you walk it is a distance of about 3 miles following the National Cycle Route 5.
An alternative is to take a local train to Appleford (from Didcot or Oxford) and then walk. We recommend that you use a map for this journey.
Long Whittenham is on the Thames and moorings are available.
